My early works are a series of self-portraits where I explored my own fears as I was becoming an adult and the childhood I was so desperately trying to hold on to.

Heaven, Hell, In-Between

These images are an exploration of my own personal struggle to find identity and a sense of place while becoming an adult. The self-portraits were an escape from reality while showing the fears I had about becoming an adult. Throughout this project the use of lighting separates images into three separate categories heavily influenced by religious iconography.
